From our Pediatric dentist, hygienists, dental assistants and office staff, we show that the best customer experience comes from a genuine care and concern. Our main goal is to help maintain the oral health of children as they grow into adults. This involves providing preventive dental care, identifying and treating oral diseases and conditions, and helping kids develop good oral hygiene habits
Dr. Evalina Josefsson DDS, Pediatric Dentist
She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Herman Ostrow school of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC), where she graduated with honors. Following dental school, she continued with a 2 year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Herman Ostrow school of Dentistry of the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
Following completion of her residency she became a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry where she maintains her diplomate status. She is certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Josefsson holds an active faculty position at USC in the department of Advanced Pediatric Dentistry and a Hospitalist Dentist at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles where she loves to help medically complicated patients and children with special health care needs.
Dr. Josefsson is surrounded by medical professionals in her family. She lives in the San Fernando Valley with her husband, a General Dentist and their two children. She truly enjoys entertaining at home, taking road trips and spending time with family She is passionate of how to make dentistry a positive experience that will encourage your children to care for their teeth for life!
Dr. Gerald Kirshbaum DDS, Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Kirshbaum received his Masters degree in Physiology at USC. He attended Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, and received his D.D.S. Degree in 1963. He began full time teaching at USC in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and started his private practice in Encino. He was on the part-time faculty as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
He received his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at USC and was co-chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.As a Clinical Assistant Professor he taught in both graduate and undergraduate areas of Pediatric Dentistry for 15 years.
As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Kirshbaum has lectured extensively in the U.S, as well as in Mexico, Hawaii, Japan, Yugoslavia. He has been active in the San Fernando Valley Dental Society, as well as past president of the Southern California unit of the American Society of Dentistry for children. He is one of few pediatric dentists that is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. His wife is a practicing clinical psychologist and they have raised four children.
Dr. Kirshbaum was formerly on the staff of Granada Hills hospital, Northridge Hospital and West Valley Community Hospital. Presently he specializes in dental treatment using in office sedation with skilled and trained anesthesiologist.
